What's actually inside matters more than the hardware
Most of what's sold is distillate — cannabis stripped down to near-pure THC, which removes essentially all the flavour, then has terpenes added back. Sometimes those terpenes came from cannabis. Often they came from fruit and are chosen to taste like a strain rather than to be one.

Reading the categories
Cured resin carts are the everyday option: solid flavour, strong, good value.
Live resin carts start from fresh-frozen material, so the terpenes are brighter and closer to the living plant.
Live rosin carts are solventless — ice water hash pressed and filled. The cleanest thing you can put in a cart, and priced accordingly.
Hardware, briefly
510-thread carts screw onto a standard battery you keep and reuse. Disposables come with the battery built in — simpler, no charging setup, but the whole thing goes when it's empty. If you vape regularly, a decent battery and 510 carts costs less over time and wastes less.
Run your battery on a lower setting than you think you need. Most burnt-tasting carts aren't bad carts, they're good carts run too hot.
